you should be able to record with this memory card, and I believe it was like 15 hours total, but that was on my sj4000 recorder(imitation)

yes, on mine 64GB SD I already store a 40 hours movies. So it is a lo of video that you can be able to use.

Check your video camera's documentation and see if it supports SDXC. If it only says SDHC then this card won't work. The recording time is determined by the settings you use in your camera, again refer to your camera's documentation, there should be info on how long it can record on a SD card, by size. You should be able to if you have a micro sd card adapter for Sony.

Yes and 64gb is several hours of high quality video in 1080P. If you figure each hour is about 3.5 gb if recorded in lower res 1080P then you can make your decision on how much you really need.

I don't own the Sony Video Camera but if your camera accept either SD or microSD then I would think so. This memory card is not super fast but it's Class 10 so I think HD record would be OK. How long can this record is all depend on the what's HD (720p, 1080p, etc...) and I really don't know as I don't own the camera.
