Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The mount should be the same, however the TV will stick out more and in my opinion if the TV is somewhere where the side edge will be seen regularly, such as on a wall that continues into a hallway, then maybe it might not be the best option.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is probably not any thicker, check your mount for its size limitations, at the center it doesn't stand off the wall any further than a flat screen. It is actually a bit thinner than my 48" Sony. Hope this helps.
