• Samsung recommends the cabinet width equal the width of the TV which is roughly 48". The actual distance between the support legs of the stand is 33.8".

• I am not sure as I bought thus for someone else but the stand feet are about six inches from the ends of the TV. The stand that it is on is the length of the TV and in my opinion that's a perfect fit; personally I wouldn't put it on a smaller stand than the TV itself.
