Both the power and connect cable comes out closer to the bottom of the TV, about 3/4 quarters of the way down from the top. I would not try to mount the receptacle behind the TV but below the TV 18" above the floor. Keep in mind you also have the connect box that needs a home. Take a picture of where your mounting the TV and I will try to help you out---
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It comes out near the bottom, approximately 6” up from the bottom. You could store the excess cable in the rear of the TV if you zip tied it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this TV , love this TV and installed this TV . Here's how I hid the wires this might be an option for you quick and easy. I have a media center/ dresser underneath this is where my cable box is and a pre-existing outlet. So I just drilled a hole behind my TV ( you can also get a box made just for wires coming thru) but it's behind the TV so I drilled 1.5" hole maybe smaller don't remember but big enough to fit the two smaller parts of the cables that attach to the TV . Then I drilled a hole same size as the first unseen covered by the furniture snaked the wires( make sure you do the all in one gently cause it's a frail wire). Plugged them in, hung TV no wires seen .
