I'm using a universal remote on my S90c with no issues.

Samsung is a popular and standard brand TV. So you can program your TV in almost any universal remote. The same goes with the surround sound. Universal remotes can be programmed to most standard home devices. As far as you lights and shades, you have to check the instruction manual for those items.
