Per the DV405 user manual, a 1/2” gas supply line is recommended and must be reduced to connect to the 3/8” gas line on the dryer. For more information, please refer to the user manual which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website for easy reference, or to the installation guide that comes with the dryer.
