• That I'm not sure but we got the newest. It lasted 3 weeks and back bulb burned out. Samsung hasn't been the best to work with and unfortunately my husband didn't take out extended warranty so Best Buy wont do anything to help.

• Not much difference, I don't think that the 2018 has the ultra viewing angle support. The stands are slightly different.
