“How close to the wall can this be mounted? It appears that the back is flat but the power adapter may stick out a bit. Looking to mount as close to the wall as possible.”

Power cord sticks at most 1.5 inch in my estimate. Its bent. So you wont have problem touching it against the wall. All other cables are hooked up sideways.

We mounted this TV on the wall with the heavy duty mount at Best Buy (about $180), and the TV projects about 6 inches from the wall to the front of the screen. We have a plug and hidden wire system behind the TV in the wall.
