Samsung does allow Dolby Atmos as long as you use the eArc HDMI. I have this setup and it sounds unbelievably good!! My head literally turns left and right because I’m hearing things that just weren’t there before.

With the HDMI eARC port on HDMI 3, you can take advantage of uncompressed Dolby Atmos sound when connected to a compatible audio device. You can either connect your devices to the TV, then utilize HDMI ARC to your receiver, or connect your devices to the receiver and use the HDMI output to the TV. ^Tim
