Hi Pete, Thanks for your purchase; I hope you are enjoying it. To move or delete apps from your Menu, press the Home button> Scroll to App> Long hold the Return Key> Move or Delete. If you would like a different remote, please know that most universal remotes can be programmed with the TU690T TV, and you can utilize the SmartThings app on your cell phone to control your TV. ~Samsung Advisor
