The legs on the 82 inch Samsung q60r are 61 inches apart, and they are the nicer metal legs found on the q70 model. (but only the 82 inch model has them, the smaller sizes use a cheaper plastic leg)

The consumer can chose to set the legs at the farthest width 61 inches apart or if your like me & you only have a shorter 59” entertainment stand Samsung provided us with a shorter width 49 inches apart option! Samsung also states that there is zero sacrifice in terms of stability at the shorter width setting!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes TV can sit on a 58" stand with the legs in the shortest position as they are 49 inches apart, but TV will overhang your stand. There are two positions for the legs. Keep in-mind even though its a slim TV its still heavy at about 110 lbs with the legs so your stand needs to be somewhat sturdy.
