• Out of the box, No. You will seed a NVME adapter to accommodate this drive. Even then, you may also run into sizing issues. I suggest doing a google search on your machine to find out the specific parts you will need. Then check out Youtube for an upgrade video.

• From a functional spec, yes; Apple does not control the specification for PCIe NVMe. They may cap the drive to 1TB due to a BIOS limitation, but this is rare since it would mean the drive doesn’t dynamically qualify during init.

• Unfortunately, no. Apple used drives with proprietary firmware and only specific Mac-compatible drivers will work. This isn't one of them.
