QuestionHas anyone noticed it being hot? Not quite sure if it would be ok for my laptop.

- Answer It becomes very hot. As per my initial use it use somewhere between 60-70C but I've read someone measure it as high as 81C. I purchased a 1mm copper heatsink with thermal tape and attached it to this SSD. As per my measurement temperatures range from 34C to 46C. I've read somewhere 50C is still considered normal or acceptable. Note not purchase the 3mm heatsinks (the ones with fins) as they are designed for desktops. The 1mm copper heatsink fits perfectly on ,y HP Pavilion gaming laptop replacing the meatl bracket (with thermal paste) holding the old SSD.

QuestionWhat is the best heat sink for this SSD. I’m trying to get one for the new PS5. I need one that is compatible with the SSD and will fit inside the PS5. Thank you in advance for your help.

- Answer MHQJRH Inexpensive and easy to install. 5 minutes to slap it to the Samsung pro and then install in the ps5

- Answer It should be compatible with any m.2 NVME slot. When you buy this, if you currently have a NVME drive and don’t have two NVME slots, you will need to purchase an adapter in order to use the Samsung cloning software. I bought my adapter for $14 on Amazon.

- Answer To be fair even Samsung won't list the TBW on their own website and if you haven't noticed these drives no longer use MLC they use TLC.

- Answer As long as you have a NVMe 2.0 slot it will. This is a gen 4 x 4 so unless your motherboard supports that you won't get the full speed advantage.

- Answer oldporkchops: Samsung NVMe SSDs use the “M-Key” (to leverage PCIe x4 for maximum performance) and cannot be plugged into an M.2 slot with a “B-Key”. - Samsung Memory

- Answer does that MOBO have an M.2 port, then yes. The AsRock Z690-C/ac has 4 m.2 slots so I would assume yes you can but you didn't give me the full name of the MOBO you are asking about. Unless this is the one ur asking about then ur answer is YES you can buy 4 of them that board has 3 with PCIe 4 and 1 with PCIe 3, so only the 4th one would run at half the speed (3500) but still much faster than a regular SSD (550)
