Hi Alma, The distance from your induction cooktop should be 24" – 36" (61.0 cm – 91.4 cm). Please see the "Installation Requirements" section on pages 7 - 10 and the "Installation" section on pages 11 - 18 of the user's manual to help you with hood installation.
