• Should work as long as your video card has HDMI output. Its just a standard 1920 x 1080 monitor.

• You have two operating systems indicated, Windows ME and Windows 7. Windows ME is pretty old, it may not support 1080p resolution. Windows 7 will support 1080p resolution. Your computer needs to have a HDMI or DVI connector to work with this monitor. The monitor comes with a HDMI cable, you may need to purchase a DVI to HDMI cable if your HP computer only has a DVI connector.

• Yes, this will hook up to your desktop. There are 3 different ways to hook up to the monitor. You may need a D-SUB cable, RGB connectors on both ends. You may already be using one.
