The classes refer to the speed and efficiency of uploading and downloading data from the microSD card to the device. They all work with Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The class is a measure of data transfer speed. Compatibility with Windows is determined by the reader you use so see try to get more info on that. In general SD cards are broken down into SD (<2GB), SDHC (4-32GB), SDXC (64GB+) so if your reader can read one 32GB card it should do fine with another but there may be a maximum size that it can communicate with i.e. it may not be able to use a 64GB card even if it is from the same manufacturer and series as a 32 it has no problems with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This may help: https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/ If the card reader on your device accepts the card, it will work fine no matter the operating system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Different classes of MicroSD cards generally has to deal with speed and when the product was released (which series of MicroSD does it belong to, etc.). All MicroSD cards generally come with standard SD adapters, and SD cards are supported by Windows.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From what I understand the lower the number the slower, kind of like old camera film. Class 10/ U1 is best for photography and normal video. When you get up in to the digital DSLR's and better video cameras it starts getting in to the XC and up categories but you should have a USB 3.0 reader for those. Hope it helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Class 10 is the fastest available and will work with any system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The classes determine the read and right speeds. They also determine longevity of the chip. The cards will work with any version of windows. But you need faster speeds of a high rate to transfer big data files like hd video. Faster speed also helps download and upload times. Moving file from sd card to computer is faster and vice versa.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually is more dependent on the phone vs the operating system. See what the manufacturer recommends on the website for that phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The operating system does not matter. The hardware is the determining factor. The higher the class the greater the read and or write speed is. The highest speed is 10. The UHS part is fairly new and covers an even faster speed. However, this still depends on if your hardware supports this specification.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The higher the class the faster the transfer rate.
