I just purchased this card for my new Galaxy S7 and it works perfect. I also have one that I used in my older Galaxy S4. So I don't believe you will have any issue with this card working in your phone.

It will probably work because part of the specification is the basic bus (transfer mechanism/connectivity). However, I expect class 10 was not available when your S2 was manufactured and so will not benefit from the speed that a class 10 chip can support. Bottom line, I suspect that you are wasting your money buying the faster chip. What you need to find out is: What is the maximum UHS class supported by the S2 or what is the maximum data transfer speeds.
