I've done this a number of times as I have about an hour commute. Just need to have a safe place to have the charger and phone sit so not susceptible to change of speed/direction that comes with driving a car in traffic. It also prevents annoying feedback that occurs with having the phone plugged directly into both aux and charge cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have an AC wall outlet in your vehicle, yes. The power comes from the wall outlet piece, not the wire. Honestly, you're better off just buying the fast charge car charger. I have this at home and it's just for looks.

If your car charger is from samsung and is fast charging compatible itll charge your phone quick as well. You can also plug a battery pack to the wireless stand and itll charge your phone too.
