Hi Shashaki. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I appreciate your taking the time to raise this inquiry regarding the Samsung - Galaxy A42 5G. I am not sure what you were advised of, but VOIP (Voice over internet protocol) works as long as you are connected to the internet, be it via Wi-Fi or your carrier service. The phone is equipped with the latest technology, and VOIP is one of them. ^Charles
