All Samsung and most other cell phones, come with a one year factory warranty. Added protection is available at an extra cost.

It still has the regular manufacturer's Warranty. I don't buy those extended Warranties. How often does stuff really fail without it being misused? All the extended Warranties that I've taken time to read sound like a scam to me.

There is a manufacturer warranty. You'll have to decide if it's worth it for you to pay for Samsung's premium care, you carrier's extra coverage or Best Buy's.

It has a 1-year manufacturer warranty. The extra protection is basically an extended warranty which will also cover damage.
