If you have configured heart rate alerts it will notify you while you are sleeping. If you are thinking about purchasing I would advise waiting until 2027 when the second generation will be released. This first generation version has serious battery degradation issues and doesn't last more than 20 months for most people. If you have purchased within the last year and notice battery issues it does come with a one year warranty and I would contact Samsung for an in-warranty replacement.

The advertised Galaxy Ring monitors heart rate and blood oxygen at night and is able to alert you at night, however, these alerts are phone-based push notifications, not audible sounds or vibrations from the ring itself. If you have additional questions for us or if you would like any further assistance, please let us know by reaching out to Support at your leisure. Thank you for choosing Samsung! - Debra
