Yes, absolutely.. Imerry a mom of 3 I have full time job and go to school in the night. I use my phone for everything, from calender to googling something to making calls and still be on the Web or texting.

I use the Internet, send messages, etc. All at the same time as a call. I use to do the same with my old LG G3 too. Now, I have seen on some iPhone you can not multi task; therefore, from what I have seen it depends on the device.
