• You just have to buy the phone with installation later and you can activate it with whichever company you choose. I use cricket but I switched to T-Mobile so I just bought it with installation later option and the phone came unlocked. I used it with cricket for a month then switched to metro/T-Mobile and it has worked with both.

• You can use your sim card as long you purchase an unlocked phone. I have cricket and I purchased an unlocked Note8. And it is working flawlessly.
