It is just like an android phone but does not make calls and is larger. You can go to the android store if you have a connections and download any of her favorite solitaire games for free. If she does not have wifi, make sure you download the games at your house first and pick games that do not need internet access.. There are plenty. You do not need to setup a login screen to access the device. (You can if you like but isn't required)
