I play games on my tablet every evening and never freezes up unless my app I'm playing freezes. I believe it's the app itself not tablet. Also I download them from Google play store quickly. I play kids games pretty much :) Candy crush, bubble witch, fruity cat... I hope this helps. I believe fast as iPad but don't use Apple myself
