Though it does not have a HDMI port. You can buy a Chromecast dongle for around $30. Set up the Chromecast and when you want to put anything from your tablet to the tv you just click the Chromecast Icon. Chrome should have all of this. Movies, YT, shopping sites right to your TV. Movies on PC you may have downloaded you can transfer to tablet and download them in seconds. Once done you have a tablet full of movies, music that you can now play off Wi-fi. You will need to put in extra memory.
