You can use a Micro SD Card up to 1TB. 1 TB Micro SD cards are rather expensive. You would be better off to invest in a 512GB that you can usually find for $25-$30

Unless you are a tech wizard, you probably aren't aware that microSD cards come in multiple classes. Other than storage capacity, there are different factors that separate them. Some also come with extra features that give them distinct classifications. Take a look at, "MicroSD cards and your Galaxy phone or tablet" for more information that may help you choose the perfect type of microSD card for your Galaxy Tab A9+. Just keep in mind that this tablet has the capability of having its storage expanded out up to 1TB!
