“Is the bootloader locked (specifically on the WIFI version)? I would like to make sure that I can unlock it to include new ROMs when Samsung stops supporting this tablet”

On mine, if I enable developer options, there is an OEM Unlocking option that will unlock the bootloader. Be warned that it will disable factory device protection features though, and I think it will erase all the data on the device.

Mine is not locked :) I've tried BLISS OS and WINDOWS 10 and this Tab S6 runs them perfectly and smoothly :)

There is an OEM Unlock setting in the developer's menu which you must choose, but then you have access to the bootloader. Do a search on "Root" with the brand and model of tablet.
