Yes you can text from the watch using voice or typing. But your phone has to be within the Bluetooth distance as the watch has no mobile plan for itself. And yes it vibrates when you recieve calls or texts or emails or fb or insta or etc notifications and it tells you who it is from

Please try again later.Yes to all you can view and reply to messages and emails with preset or Bixby...you can also control music player but you must be withing bluetooth range or wifi... you can answer the call on the watch but you cannot take the call because watch has no speaker... any notifications received vibrate it does have a microphone for Bixby
