• Yes Shells you can. You actually don't even need your phone to be close to it as it has the built in 4gLTE. If you move out of bluetooth range from your phone, the watch then goes into 'Stand Alone' mode, which will allow your watch to still receive all notifications, emails, texts, calls, etc as well as send out texts, calls etc.
