• Pretty easy to setup. I found the step count to be pretty accurate, but if you fidget a lot or do some excessive arm movements you can definitely trick it (like with most devices). I had the Watch Active 2 for 2.5 years before trading up to this one. One month in and I'm still a fan so far. Hope this helps.

• The watch is easy to setup. But the accuracy is not prefect because vibrations during traveling, etc sometimes is counted as steps.

• The watch is very easy to setup I had to setup several times due to switching to a new cellphone carrier due to resetting all devices to relink cellular communication SIM card. I cannot answer the step accuracy question. I can say it correctly monitors your sport activities as for as riding bike is concerned.
