Yes. You can swim but not dive deep

The water resistance rating is for up to a max depth of 50m and to withstand up to 5m for 30 mins. In my experience, my 4 year old samsung watch with same water rating has survived 4 years of showers and occasional swimming with no issues. It has a swim lock mode to keep the screen from reacting to water. I'd be cautious about taking it in saltwater or for a very long/deep swim. I'd want a real dive watch for SCUBA.
