However, this app is only available on your phone, which means you need to connect your watch and phone together. Samsung watches are only compatible with certain Android and iOS phones - make sure your phone is compatible before you try setting up your watch. Non-Samsung phones running Android can connect to Galaxy Watch and Gear. For the best results, make sure your device has the latest software, and be sure to get the Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store. The Galaxy Watch6 and the Galaxy Watch6 Classic are compatible with phones that have Android 8.0 and a RAM of 1.5 GB or higher.
