“Does this watch or any other Samsung model watch have the ability to make phone calls on its own. Does it have a SIM or a eSim so that is is a separate free standing phone or must you always have your rsmartphone nearby”

LTE enabled devices are ones that utilize a cellular network to access the internet, to make and/or receive calls and/or messages without the need of being paired to a smartphone. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can call and text, its like mini-phone. You can add separate phone line to watch or use it with your phone, either way works. When you have separate line number to watch, you dont need your phone near by, you can use watch as a phone, including payments in store etc.
