No it will not. My friend has a note edge and it doesn't even fit.

No, this product is meant to be used with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Although people have said it might, the Note Edge is slightly larger and won't fit onto the Gear VR. I took my unit to best but to no luck.

Samsung - Gear VR for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Cell Phones. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Works for the Note 4 and the Note 4 only.

Short Answer NO! Long answer, you can root the phone and put in custom firmware. Check Forums through Google. Keeping in mind this would probably void your warranty. Its unfortunate and Samsung realized this. The new GearVR for the S6 will support bot the S6 and S6 Edge
