If download the movie to your SD card, you can watch it. I don't think you can watch Netflix, but I would not be surprised if some one developed an app to allow that to happen.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As of right now (February 2015) you can't watch Netflix on the Gear VR, however any other movies you download to the Note 4 you can watch them without any issues, even 3D movies and of course the video and photos you get from the Note's camera.
