No it will not, in fact I take off my back cover while using my gear vr because anything you can take off will aid in over heating issues. This is not a finished product so you will need head phones, and a game pad as well of you want to experiment with the gear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer: No You have to remove any cases from the Note 4 before using it on the Gear VR. 1. It doesn't fit 2. The Note 4 gets really hot while used on the Gear VR, so it would be overkill otherwise.

There MAY be a case that would work but I wouldn't bank on it. If I remember correctly even the Samsung Wireless charging back does not fit on the GearVR. I've also heard of people having issues with clearance if they have a really thick Protective Screen Protector.
