I believe it should do the job. The sound quality is great, closer to the high end of the volume you might get less clarity if you are using a phone and running youtube or something. I use volume at 20-30 and im sitting about 6-8ft away and that is plenty loud. Volume level goes i believe up to 60, which i have not dared to try for the sake of my ear drums and speakers.

I love this Harman Kardon/Samsung soundbar. This however, is the 2019 version of this product. The 2020 version does not have near the size and abilities to belt out great sounds. The subwoofer has plenty of ability to give a well balanced bass to the sound coming from the unit. Getting back to your question; I have a, "Great Room", that is approximately 25 feet by 18 feet. But if I add the kitchen, which is part of the open floor plan, It is much bigger. The ceiling goes from 9 feet, up to 12 feet. My HW-Q80R/ZA fills the whole area very nicely. We did buy an open box of the Q90. The sound wasn't great. Maybe that's why it was an open box. When we did have it hooked up and played music, the rear speaker were not very loud. I'm guessing that they really help with a newly recorded movie. They both have atmos etc. The soundbars are both 2109 models. You cant go wrong with either one. Since they both are 2019 models, it may be difficult to find any. Good luck!
