Hi BB1971! You can adjust the HW-Q990D’s front, rear, and subwoofer channels, but they cannot be fully turned on or off individually. Using the Sound Control and CH Level settings, you can raise or lower the volume of each speaker group, including the subwoofer. Also, with “Private Rear Sound” mode, it allows audio to come only from the rear speakers, but this mode disables the front speakers and the subwoofer at the same time. Outside of that mode, the soundbar does not offer a full on/off toggle for individual speakers. ~ Samsung Solutions
