- Answer You should be able to downscale to 1080P through NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD's Varient Software. And naturally will be able to return to it's native 1440P Resolution.

QuestionI have a rather weird question that i cant stop thinking about and cant find answers anywhere. Here goes, Can this, a 1440p 144Hz monitor run @ 1080p 240Hz, you know because res is lower so Hz would be higher, right??

- Answer no it cannot. I have this monitor and nowhere in settings does it allow to go higher than the 144hz it claims but other than this is still a great monitor for the price. Only downside to this monitor is the single display and hdmi port.
