Yes, you can link them together to play the same thing in different rooms. I am not sure as to how many you can link together. I know you can do at least two.

Another great thing about having two speaker is that you can play music on one and stream TV from the other also you can stream different music from each. One speaker can be on a Pandora and the other speaker can stream from another app or the music you have on your phone. The variety is what I love. Good Luck!

Bluetooth mode requires you add each speaker but is limited on range to the streaming device. I'd say if you live in something bigger then a 1K sq. ft. house wifi mode is required.
