To be honest, when I returned home with this product I was thoroughly disappointed. One, the speaker was small, like an Amazon Echo, so I thought I might return it. Left it in the plastic unopened, but hooked it up to my phone via Bluetooth to see what it was made of. Two, I read online the subwoofer inside it is rated at 10 watts. However, after removing The super-tight plastic protective wrapping, the speaker came to life with lows, mids, and some highs. It is a good performing Bluetooth audio reproducing device. The Samsung MultiRoom app is nifty for tech geeks. The trick is, you have to buy two or three of these Samsung Bluetooth speakers to get surround sound. But if I wanted that...I'd buy Klipsch towers anyway. Most of the music I play sounds great through it. The volume (it is a radiating enclosure with the woofer down firing) is more than enough for my home needs.

My daughter loves this speaker for her room and it sounds good.

I was impressed with the sound. Clean and loud. I was less impressed with the connection process. I have to reconnect every time while using wifi. It was a letdown also that there was no aux input ( I wanted to connect my IMac to it) granted you can connect it via Bluetooth, there is a delay while using GarageBand. Otherwise happy with it.

This speaker is easy to connect to. The sound can get loud from this little thing but it's different. Not quite tonal balanced, has a lot of bass for the size. It's a good bluetooth speaker.

This is great! We can easily listen to music from our phones through Bluetooth. Easy setup and simple instructions. It sounds great!

I purchased 2 of these so I could put in 2 different areas of the house. They are easy to set up and the sound is pretty good. Options for wired, wireless or Bluetooth allows me to use different sources for music.

The sound quality I think is better than the Bose. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that itshe not completely wireless....you have to plug it into the wall or have some sorta available power source. But the sound is amazing. No distortion in the bass when the volume is high. It looks nice as well....put it on display in any room.

I returned my entire Samsung Radiant set and replaced them with one of every sonos speaker. The sonos sound MUCH better, dont distort like the samsungs did, the software works better. These samsung radiant speakers sound good at low volume, but once they go over about 60% they start to distort, the bass drops off and they sound hallow. With the sonos bridge, it creates its own network for the speakers that wont choke up my WiFi. I had problems with these speakers staying connected if i had more than two on at a time. There is no competing product like the sonos bridge/boost. These are samsungs second attempt at around the house speakers, and they are better than gen 1, but still need quite a bit of work all around. Overall, Sonos still owns the home speaker market.

Sound is good enough. Quality is good for what you expect from this size of speaker. My first surprise was that is does not has a battery. So you need a contact and is not totally portable. I thought it was. Another bad point is that volume from certain devices do not responde from Spotify app (iPad). And also the connection from this app to the R1 suddenly lost. Itunes works better with R1. Android Spotifi app seems to work better with R1. If you don't need a totally portable and play from Android is good enough. Thinks twice if is for IOS.

Don't get tricked into buying the much more expensive brands of speakers that the sales people always try to persuade to purchase, they really talk down this great speaker. I don't know anyone who needs speakers that play any louder than this one and it's very good sound

Bought this to replace my old wired speakers for my Mac. Overall sound quality is great for my needs...which is mostly music or watching videos online. But I'm not sure if this would be a good speaker for your home theater. I also like the fact that you can pair more speakers for a surround sound effect. I may get a 2nd for my home office and also considering 2 more for the bedroom. I like the idea of 1 speaker on each nightstand so my g/f and I can adjust the volume independently. And we can get rid of the 30' of speaker wire in our bedroom too. All in all, this is a really good speaker if you aren't looking for really robust, dynamic sound. Perhaps its bigger counterpart would suit you better. But for anyone looking to improve their computer sound or maybe a speaker for in the kitchen or something, you can't go wrong with this one.

I love this speaker that,s great sound. All my family are surprised about the sound. I recommend this speaker to anybody they like to hear a real music and this small thing.

Set up well with the HW-H750 bar. Upon downloading the multiroom app, and once you're in the surround setting, you can adjust the volume of each rear speaker...pretty cool as I never feel surround speakers are loud enough. My setting is sound bar -6, surrounds are +6 Movies sound great! Some live music shows need to be adjusted due to delayed sound. I'd love to give this a 5...when it works, it is a 5! Much better price than Sonos, and has the same features. BUT, the speakers need to be reloaded to the app every so often...not sure why, which made me almost give this a 3 star.

in the age of wireless tech, and bluetooth that, Quality seems to be the only real barrier in this new world of products. And Samsung once again delivers, this speaker is a great tool with out looking like one, providing a full range sound in a small space. I also must compliment Best Buy Customer Service Dept. I had a problem and they were so kind and efficient in resolving it for me that I have No Complaints and that's a big deal for me not to complain. I only gave the speaker 4 Stars because it lacks Battery potability. I would have loved it more if there were an option to drop the cord and be totally wireless with just adding batteries or if there were an internal rechargeable battery pack. Well maybe that's the big save for the upgraded version and if so I be back in line to buy it also. Thanks Best Buy and Samsung you never disappoint.

Great sound and quality for a decent price! Bluetooth connection!

The 3D sound is great! The music blasts all around, controls on the top are great. Downside is that it has no battery so it must be plugged. Bluetooth works great with iPhone and Macs, the sound is crisp and full.

This is a great bluetooth speaker for use around the house. The app may need some tweaking as the speaker was deleted from the app at one point and needed to be added again, but overall, it works and sounds great.

I loved this speaker but was also disappointed at the same time. The sound quality was excellent and I did feel like the speaker dispersed the sound evenly from all angles. The reason I bought this speaker; however, was because I was trying to connect it to my tv wirelessly via blue tooth. The speaker did indeed do that when I was watching regular tv. When I wanted to watch Hulu though, the sound wouldn't work. I was so very disappointed when I figured this out. I ended up returning it because I couldn't justify spending $157 when it didn't work completely with my tv (Samsung Smart TV). It really is a great speaker though.

The speaker is great, but don't make the same mistake I did. I have 2 of them and use them as rear surround speakers and they work great. However, I only bought one initially just to try out and wasted about 5 hours of my life trying to figure out why It wouldn't let me set it up as a rear surround speaker with my sound bar. The answer is that the app only gives you this option if you have 2 of them connected to the network. So now my Samsung TV, soundbar and wireless speakers work wonderfully together. Just make sure you get at least 2 of them.

Well this speaker is small and powerful. Love the ability to connect via the Samsung app and control it from any room. It really puts out great sound high volume. My kids said it drowns me out perfectly while I'm singing along to it from any room. We are already considering purchasing another for the recroom or even the next size up.
