I love this speaker. I really am not sure how I survived without it. Some other reviews said that the app was a pain but they must have done an update because I thought it was super easy to set up and I am NOT tech savy at all. Took me 10 minutes to set it up from cutting the box open to playing my first song. The sound quality was excellent, I could easily hear my music all over the first floor of my house. I probably could have heard it from the second floor too but I didn't try. I already recommended it to a friend and she's going to buy it.

I use the speakers for surround sound. I really like the speakers and the sound quality is very good, but I do have a problem with them staying connected via WIFI. It could be my WIFI connection though as I have them in teh basement and my router is on the 2nd floor of our house.

I thinkit sounds good. It has clear sounds and gets very loud. It has good options like wifi connect and tv mode. The bluetooth has really good range too. The only reason I give it a four is because it has to be plugged in its not a wireless speaker.

Purchased this speaker after hearing a friends similar item, great surround sound, easy to 'bluetooth,' fan of Samsung products.

Great sound compared to similarly priced product.connection via Bluetooth not complex nor difficult to achieve.

Connected to my Samsung smart tv, sound is good, was easy to connect.

I have 2 of these and the Samsung app is good to connect them together and mess with the equalizer. But other than that it's not worth it, so I have them connected to my TV over wifi and no problems since, make awesome rear surround sound speakers.

I am really impressed with this speaker. The included phone app works well and it is fairly easy to setup. The sound quality is good for its size and is on par with the Bose SoundLink Mini, but with better mid range tone. Wifi speakers are superior to Bluetooth speakers as you can use your phone for phone calls or texts without disrupting the music or having your phone call blasted over the speaker. Also, the sound quality is significantly better using wifi than Bluetooth.

I use it in garage. I have 3 of these R1 speakers. Technology is a little dated at this point but I luv these. Have 1 in office at work. One in bedroom and an R3 unit in the kitchen. Can play to all on wifi or just 1. Compatible with Samsung soundconnect, has bt and can stream from your media services with the multiroom app. My google home mini can play to these as primary bt speaker when playing music through Google home.

The speaker itself worked wonderfully but it wasn't what we were looking for and the salesperson didn't fully explain what would be involved in setting it up.

I am fund of speakers, I have JBL, ALTEC LANSING ( different verities) and went for Samsung with clearance sales offer. The sound clarity is good and ample enough for 1200SFT house. Easy to connect with your mobile.

Excellent sound easy hookup. With the wifi or Bluetooth hookup makes the movement of the speakers a breeze

My first wifi speaker and I am glad I bought this one. Great sound and easy to use and setup.

Took forever to figure out how to get it all connected with Samsung Curved Sound Bar and TV. If often drops the WiFi signal and you miss parts of the sound. I wish we went wired. when it works the sound is great.

Great speaker sound for a very reasonable price. Easy to link up to devices.
