Tech set mine up so that I use only my cable remote. Must be a way to sync them. If not in the manual, call the Geek squad and they should be able to talk you through it.

It works with a Xfinity X1 remote.

You have to use the Soundbar Controller to Turn it on and make any adjustments. I leave my Soundbar ON even when My TV is off .There are button on the Right side of the Soundbar also to turn it on and make changes.

Provided controller or Samsung tv controller. Possibly if your cable remote is a learning remote. Sound in this is absolutely incredible!

Yes...it can be powered on with my dtv remote or the tv remote or the sound bar remote. Just requires some set up to use with the dtv remote
