Yes, the Samsung soundbar is compatible with VIzio Model M50-C1.

Please try again later.The soundbar can take an audio source from HDMI and optical, Your Vizio tv can send audio to the soundbar via its optical port or the HDMI #1 port labeled "audio out (ARC)" If audio is sent to the soundbar via the HDMI port then the tv can also control the volume of the soundbar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not. You TV has an HDMI (ARC) port and an optical audio output. Either method would work just fine. The HDMI (ARC) connection is preferred because it will have the soundbar turn on when the TV is turned on and off when you turn it off. It also allows the TV remote to control the soundbar level.

They are able to determine compatibility to Samsung televisions. However, I am not sure if they can do the same with you since you own a Vizio television. Otherwise, you may want to contact Vizio .
