• I have contact Samsung...and as of this date there is no upgrade to add a subwoofer...I had the same question..

• Sorry haven't the foggiest idea. I can tell you I bought and had installed two sound bars. It replaces wall and ceiling mounted speakers. The sound bars are linked into the remote so the volume button totally regulars the sound inclusively.
