Use HDMI 2.0a or b Cables for HDR and bitstream for Dolby Atmos . These are the newest HDMI cable specs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend going into the audio settings and take it off of AUTO and put it on Bitstream (no re-encode). In theory, that should allow the unit to pass along the raw signal to your receiver (that must support ATMOS) and then the receiver will decode it. In other words, the player is not the most important piece, the receiver is. The player just passes the signal.
