• Yes, it supports HDR10 out of the box. Samsung has announced they will release a firmware upgrade for the player that will add HDR+ support some time in 2018. It does not support Dolby Vision, and most likely never will.

• Yes. But turn of hdr plus when watching uhd, you dont want software upscaling a native 4k hdr signal. It will actually ne worse
