• Hi hfer, The SWA-9500S Wireless Rear Speakers are not stand alone speakers. They need a compatible Samsung Soundbar to connect with. ~Samsung Solutions

• These are designed to connect to certain Samsung soundbars as the rear component. You won't be able to connect them to a phone without substantial hacking -- if at all. Besides: there are great standalone Bluetooth speakers available at this price point... or much less.
