• MAC or Windows it uses the exFAT file system which means no reformatting needed for each type of computer since it works seamlessly between them.

• It looks like its either. It doesn't specifically say Mac on it and it worked fine immediately. My spouse also brought one at the same time for his Windows laptop and it also worked.
